Somali president returns back to Makadishu to form a government

the new Somali President Abdul Qasem Salat Hassan on Saturday returned back to Makadishu from Djibouti to form his government which will be headed by Ali Khalaf Jaleed, who by his turn returned on the same plane boarded the President.
Salat stressed that the situation in Makadishu is calm " and we are planning to disarm the weapons of the militias," a process which has so far resulted in that some 2500 Somalis have so far dropped their guns in Banadir area which surrounds the capital Makadishu.
Besides the prime minister President Salat was accompanied by other officials including the founder of the Somali national movement Mahmoud Houri, who is expected to be appointed as a minister for foreign affairs in the government to be formed very shortly.
