Mubarak intensive talks with Arafat, Clinton, Barak, Annan, Abdullah and Allbright

The Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is resuming his intensive efforts to stop the violence in the Palestinian lands.
He received a phone call from U.S president Bill Clinton and another one from Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abd al-Aziz.
On his turn, Mubarak held phone conversation with king Abdu Allah II of Jordan and he assigned the foreign minister Amr Moussa to head of Saudi Arabia carrying a message to King Fahd Bin Abd El-Aziz and Crown Prince Abdullah.
He also received phone conversations from the U.N secretary general Kofi Annan who is holding intensive communications with the Palestinian and the Israeli sides.
Safwat El-Sharif, the Egyptian information minister said "President Mubarak received a phone conversation from Jean Chretien the Canadian prime minister, Madeleine Albright the U.S secretary of State and Javier Solana the higher commissioner of the European Union."
