One Palestinian killed, 100 wounded in Friday's confrontation

For the third successive week, the series of Israeli confrontations against unarmed Palestinians in the occupied Arab lands continued on Friday.
The Palestinian Mansour Sayed Ahmad was killed in confrontations in Hebron ( al-Khalil) and more than 100 Palestinians wounded in confrontations in the West Bank and Gaza strip.
Eye witnesses said the fiercest confrontations took place in Hebron where 30 Palestinians were hit by the Israeli bullets while other 20 were hit in Bethlehem and 25 in Gaza.
The eye-witnesses added the Palestinians were defending themselves by stones while the Israeli occupation forces used bullets in Ramullah and this resulted in wounding 25 Palestinians.
In occupied Jerusalem the Israeli soldiers opened fire on Palestinian youths who were protesting after they were prevented from performing their prayers at al-Aqsa mosque. Demonstrators were hit in southern Gaza while protesting against the Israeli air raids which resulted in heavy casualties in lines of the Palestinian civilian and their properties.
Meantime, confrontation in Jerusalem resulted in wounding the Israeli policemen while stones and explosives were thrown against an Israeli settlement near al-Beera where the Palestinian demonstrators confronted the Israeli soldiers who hurried to oppress the anti occupation demonstration in Nablus and Ramullah using bullet fires.
Fierce confrontations also took place following Friday's prayers in Bethlehem, Rafah, al-Khalil, Jafa and Haifa during which the demonstrators threw stones on the Israeli soldiers and the Israeli forces carried out an arrest campaign in the West Bank and Gaza strip and 17 Palestinians were arrested.
