Five Arab air carriers to start partnership

Five Arab carriers decided to set in motion a commercial partnership, an Egypt Air executive said.
The five Carriers -- namely RAM, Egypt Air, Alia (Jordan), Saudi Airlines, and Lebanon's Air company- agreed to create a technical commission to start moves towards the setting up of a trade alliance, Hisham Nabih, head of international relations at Egypt Air, was quoted by the Egyptian press as saying.
The projected alliance will help enforce code sharing, he said.
The alliance will form a technical committee within a month to determine the executive and technical steps of the alliance.
He added said that this will form a core Arab airline companies alliance to confront the international challenges.
