Princess Lalla Amina Launches 3rd Regional Special Olympics

Princess Lalla Amina, chairwoman of the Moroccan "Special Olympics," launched in Rabat Thursday at the Prince Moulay Abdallah Sports Complex the 3d special Olympiads of the Middle-East and North-Africa.
The disabled games, Oct. 11-15, held under royal patronage are attended by 17 delegations including Palestine. The opening ceremony attendance stood in a minute of silence to the memory of Palestinian martyrs.
The chairman of Arab Special Olympics Ismail Othmane stressed the importance of the Moroccan event and underscored achievements by the Middle-East and North-Africa games.
