Man arrested for robbing bank to pay for heart surgery

A 23-year old man, suffering from a heart disease, was arrested as he was trying to break into a bank in Casablanca to pay for a heart surgery he had to undergo.
According to L'Opinion daily, S.T. was arrested by the police as he was trying to break into the bank through a window.
The young man suffers since 1986 from a heart disease that required surgery he could not afford.
He told the police had he succeeded, he would have only taken 40,000 Dirhams ($ 3,600) he needed for the surgery.
