Barak warns citizens from terrorist operations
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 10/12/2000

The Israeli prime minister Ihud Barak warned Israeli citizens of the possibility of having terrorism operations being carried in Israel, saying that he blames the Palestinian government, who released some of the Palestinian Islamic resistance (Hamas) members, for any possible operations.

He said that he gave instructions to the Israeli security bodies to be on standby for any confrontations.

The Norwegian foreign minister arrived today in Israel heading a Norwegian delegation in an unstated and unplanned visit. The Israeli radio said that the visit comes at a time of talk about the possibility of convening a three-way summit among Barak, Arafat and Clinton in the middle of the current month.
