Environmental management in the Arab states conference

The Moroccan capital city of Rabat will be playing host October 19-21 to the first Arab annual environment conference on "Environment-management in the Arab world: challenges and prospects."
The event staged by the Arab Administration Development Organization with relevant Moroccan departments will cover the role to be played by actors such as government organization, local councils, the private sector and civil society in healthy management of environment and the strengthening of inter-Arab cooperation in this field.
Environment-management and sustained growth, industrial and domestic waste, water, soil and energy management and industrial pollution are on the agenda of this first conference.
