Report: Moroccan paper donates issue sales to Palestinians
Morocco-Palestine, Politics, 10/11/2000
Moroccan weekly "La Gazette du Maroc" has donated the Palestinians the revenues of the sales of its last week's issue.
In a story on the Israeli ruthless crackdown on helpless Palestinians, the weekly underlined that the Intifada (uprising) is a defeat for Israel. "This is a new era that starts in Palestine," said the paper, underlining the Hebrew entity is breaking down and that the peace process was buried.
Israel wanted to end the peace process that was unveiling its true racist and belligerent character, said La Gazette. "Israel can stay united only by being a military, belligerent, racist and killer state. Any genuine peace would be fatal for this entity."
The paper also lauded "the bravery of the Palestinian people, who are facing bare hands the heavily-armed Zionist servicemen."
