Annan arrives in Beirut today to discuss conditions in occupied lands

Kofi Annan, the U.N secretary general, arrived at Beirut today in his current tour in the area to discuss the deteriorated positions in the occupied lands and to ease the tension between Lebanon and Syria on one hand and Israel on the other.
Annan held a discussion session with the Lebanese President Emil Lahud that tackled the fate of the three Israeli soldiers whom were captured by the Lebanese Hezbollah last Saturday.
Lebanese sources assured that Hezbollah is determined on releasing all the detainees in Israeli jails from the Hamas party and from the Jihad, saying that Hezbollah received from the Palestinian captives affairs ministry - lists with the names of the Palestinian detainees and captives in case a deal is reached between Hezbollah and Israel on releasing the Palestinian detainees.
