First Egyptian plane in 10 years lands today in Baghdad

The Egyptian airplane which carries a public delegation to express the solidarity with the Iraqi people and meant to break the embargo on Iraq headed to Baghdad.
But among the 178 personalities on board there were no governmental officials while the delegation comprised al-Azhar Sheik and representatives of Pope Shenuda the 3rd. Mohammed Sami, the head of the delegation assured before the take off that "the official fronts showed a deep concern with the flight ."
Sami said "we did not ask a permission from the international sanctions committee and (they) will inform us with the date through the Egyptian ministry yet we will not wait for its answer."
The delegation visit to Baghdad would last 6 hours and will comprise a press conference at the airport then a visit to 'America' assemblage that was destroyed during Kuwait's liberation war as well as a visit to a children hospital that was damaged due to the alliance forces' strikes.
The trip will comprise Egyptian artists, journalists, politicians and intellectuals.
