Israel halts vegetable, fruit imports from Jordan, PA

The Israeli ministry of agriculture on Tuesday stopped the imports of vegetables and fruits from Jordan and the Palestinian territories.
The Hebrew- language Israeli radio said on Tuesday that Israel has decided to import its fruits and vegetables from Europe and the ministry of agriculture issued a decision exempts the agricultural products imported from Europe from taxes.
