Algerian president arrives in China

Algerian President Abdul Aziz Butaflika arrived on Monday in Beijing in a visit to China which will last for 6 days during which he will take part in a large Chinese- African ministerial meeting.
Butaflika, however, will take part in the Chinese - African cooperation forum which will be held in Beijing on Tuesday and ends on Thursday before he starts an official visit to China which will last until October 15.
Some 80 African minister of foreign affairs or commerce are expected to arrive in Beijing to take part in the Forum as from today ( Tuesday).
It is the first huge conference organized by China to strengthen and enhance China's image as a champion for development on the international arena.
In addition to Butaflika other three African Presidents will be taking part. They are the Presidents of Tanzania, Zambia and Togo.
