Syrian airbus plane arrived in Baghdad

A Syrian airbus plane arrived in Baghdad on Sunday carrying ten tons of medical stuffs and foodstuffs.

The aid was accompanied by an official and people's delegation including the minister of state for cabinet affairs, several doctors and nurses, representatives for the Syrian Red Crescent society, the Revolution's Youth Union, the general federation of women, the chambers of commerce and the businessmen and a media delegation representing Syrian media various establishments.

The Syrian delegation was welcomed by the Iraqi trade minister Muhammad mahdi Saleh and other several ministers.

Saleh said that this visit would contribute to further consolidation of bilateral relations, stressing that relations between the two states will be further consolidated.

The Syrian plane and the accompanying delegation returned back to Damascus on Sunday evening.
