Syrian aid to the occupied Palestinian territories

A shipment of hospital medicines arrived on Sunday afternoon in Amman as an urgent Syrian medical aids to the Palestinian people in the occupied lands who are confronting the Israeli occupation forces in defense of the lands and the holy sites.
The shipment was handed over by Dr. Tareq al-Sheikh to the representative of the PLO in Amman Omar al-Khatib.
This was, however, the first of the Syrian aids to the Palestinians to alleviate their sufferings.
Dr. al-Sheikh told journalists this is a symbol for the deep national feelings that unite all Arabs for the sake of strengthening the struggle of the Palestinians people in the face of the Israeli occupations forces.
The medical stuffs shipment which is estimated at more than 10 tons of medicines for surgery operation and children medicines arrived in Amman on Sunday afternoon and was welcomed by the Jordanian deputy health minister and PLO representative in Amman.
