New Syrian ambassador in Cairo

The Egyptian magazine "Akher Sa'aa" said in its recent issues published on Saturday that it was agreed to appoint Youssef Ahmad as a new ambassador for Syria in Cairo instead of the current ambassador Majid Abu Saleh.
The magazine added that the new ambassador has worked a former minister for transport and as a former minister of state, adding that Ahmad will assume his work during the coming weeks and that he was among the delegation which accompanied President Bashar al-Assad during his recent visit to Cairo
