Saudi, Iranian FMs statements over Jerusalem issue

Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal has stressed that the Iranian proposal to convene an urgent meeting for the foreign ministers of the Islamic states are good ideas which will be effective. He noted that the whole picture will be complete after the forthcoming Arab summit.
In an exclusive statement to the London- based al-Hayat daily issued on Sunday, prince Faisal added that the question of Jerusalem as an Arab priority and not only an Islamic one.
For his part, the Iranian foreign minister Kamal Kharazi said that if all the Islamic states will agree to convene the ministerial committee which was called upon by Iran, this will be an effective step as through this conference Iran will declare its stances towards Middle east developments and the question of holy Jerusalem.
Kharazi added in a similar statement to the paper that Iran continues its contacts with the Organization of the Islamic Conference and " we do hope to get the consent of all the OIC member states to convene the ministerial meeting."
