The Moroccan new move for the sahara is a UNO request

The Moroccan government said Friday the new move made by Morocco at the Berlin meeting came at the request of the United Nations Organization (UNO) in search for a political settlement after the organization plan was stalled by obstacles of the foes of the Kingdom's territorial integrity.

Culture and communication minister Mohamed Achaari who was speaking the press, after the weekly government council held Friday, renewed the government's mobilization behind the sovereign to defend the kingdom's territorial integrity and Moroccan sovereignty on retrieved Saharan provinces.

Morocco expressed in Berlin readiness to open dialog with the other side in search for final settlement in the respect of its sovereignty and land integrity.

The Friday council was briefed by foreign affairs and cooperation minister Mohamed Benaissa and interior minister Ahmed El Midaoui on developments in the Sahara issue and the Berlin meeting in particular.
