Rabat denounces anew barbaric killing of Palestinians

The Moroccan government on Friday denounced anew the barbaric killings of Palestinians and renewed solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Since the outbreak of the tragedy, the Moroccan people has been expressing its sadness, fears, anger and total solidarity with the Palestinian people, said prime minister Abderrahmane Youssoufi during the weekly cabinet meeting.

Culture and communication minister, Mohamed Achaari, told reporters at the end of the meeting that the Moroccan people who considers the Palestinian issue as a national cause, will organize on Sunday a march to show their solidarity and the national consensus over the issue.

He added that all components of the Moroccan society, namely political parties, trade unions, associations, organizations and individuals have adhered to the march.

The Moroccan association of support to the Palestinian people struggle called for the march on Sunday and for fasting on Monday.

On Friday, Moroccans performed special prayers for the rest of the soul of more than 70 Palestinian martyrs.
