Moroccans pray for Palestinians

Special prayers will be performed this Friday in mosques throughout Morocco for the rest of the soul of the Palestinian martyrs, savagely killed and massacred by Israeli occupation forces.

Prayers will be performed in all Morocco's mosques, immediately after the Friday prayers, following the painful incidents that the Palestinian people and all the Islamic Ummah (Nation) endured during the past weeks, especially the racist aggressions perpetrated by the Zionist enemy at the Al-Aqsa Mosque and in other Palestinian cities and areas, the Moroccan endowments and Islamic affairs department said in a release.

Students in several Moroccan universities and high schools have been demonstrating in protest against the Israeli barbarous acts against innocent and helpless Palestinians. Two marches, supported by all Moroccan political and trade unions and several non-governmental organizations, are to be staged Sunday morning in Rabat and Casablanca, Morocco's two major cities, to show solidarity and backing to the Palestinian people.
