Chirac hopes to investigate killing of Palestinian child Rami al-Derra
Palestine, Politics, 10/6/2000

The Palestinian minister of culture and information Yasser Abd Rabbu said that the French President Jacques Chirac expressed hope to have an investigation over the killing of the Palestinian child Muhammad al-Derra.

Abd Rabbu explained that Chirac expressed this sentiment before all participants in Paris meeting during the work meeting held on Wednesday at Elysee palace. He added that Chirac expressed his sympathy over the death of victims in the " tragic confrontation and his commiseration to the families."

A 10- year old child was also killed on Wednesday by the bullets of the Israeli soldiers in the same place where child al-Derra was killed near Natsareim settlement in Gaza strip.
