Al-Shara discusses with Moussa Arab summit date

On Thursday afternoon a telephone call was made by al-Shara and the Egyptian foreign minister Amr Moussa during which discussions dealt with the date for convening the Arab summit which President Bashar al-Assad has agreed on together with President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt and the importance of convening it as soon as possible.

To this effect, President Mubarak announced that the Arabs are prepared than any time ago to convene the summit.

In a statement to the Egyptian " armed forces " forces magazine issued on Thursday on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the October Liberation war " which falls today ( Friday), President Mubarak said the aim of the summit should be a message to the whole world that " we are able to confront and to unify our ranks and word."

Mubarak warned that postponing a peace solution threatens of drastic consequences and any unfair nor unbalanced settlement is but a " time bomb in the face of all."
