Moroccan, Italian entrepreneurs explore cooperation

A delegation of Italian entrepreneurs from Tuscany visited Wednesday the Marrakesh chamber of trade, industry and services to explore with local peers small and medium enterprise (SME) cooperation.

Tuscany which boasts 30,000 SME, mainly in agro-business, cosmetics and tourism seeks genuine partnership with SME in the Marrakesh region with actual signing of trade contracts, said head of the delegation Lingi Sana.

Head of the city chamber said the visit of the Italian delegation is part of efforts to diversify external relations and upgrade communication and contacts with foreign SME.

Similar Cooperation and partnerships are also sought with other countries to enhance exports of local products, mostly handicraft, agro-business and tourism, and profit from foreign know-how in SME management, he said.
