Dutch police-delegation visits parliament

Morocco's deputy-speaker of the House of Representatives Brahim Rachidi met in Rabat Wednesday a Dutch delegation of 24 police-officials on a study-visit to Morocco.
Bilateral relations and the two countries' respective parliamentary systems were the main issues debated, a press-release of the House said.
Answering questions by visitors, Rachidi shed light on the working of the Parliament and latest constitutional reforms. He also underscored progress made in human rights protection, freedom of speech and efforts by the Kingdom to settle social problems.
The deputy-speaker said the country needed investments and support to modernize its economy and called for wider contacts between Morocco and the Netherlands which host a large Moroccan community.
