Discussions to increase salaries of private sector workers

The chairman of the Damascus chamber of industry Yahya al-Hindi has stressed that businessmen in Syria, industrialists and traders in the country's provinces will meet on Saturday at the Damascus federation of the chambers of commerce to discuss the issue of increasing salaries and wages for workers in the private sector. This new measure is in the framework of the decree issued by President Bashar al-Assad which provides for increasing salaries for the state employees.
