Coolness in relations between Israel and Turkey

Turkish diplomatic and military sources stressed " coolness in relations between Turkey and Israel since weeks, adding that there are several reasons behind that."

The BBC correspondent quoted these sources as saying that officials in Turkey expressed their non- satisfaction with the process of relations with Israel. They said that relations with Israel did not attain any political, military or economic relations with Israel.

They continued that relations with Israel have created for them so many problems in their relations with several Arab and Muslim states.

The Turkish sources also have not welcomed the visit of the Israeli army chief of staff Shaoul Moufaz, besides the bad timing of his visit which coincides with the killing of more 60 Palestinian at the hands of the Israeli soldiers in the occupied Palestinian territories.
