Mubarak participates in October Victory celebrations

Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, will participate in celebrations marking the 27th anniversary of the october 6, 1973 victory to lay wreaths Wednesday morning on the memorial of the unknown soldier and the tombs of late Leaders Anwar Al-Sadat and Gamal Abdul Nasser. He will later chair a meeting of the Higher Council of the Armed forces held on this occasion where he and senior state officials will attend an artistic show to celebrate this occasion.
Meanwhile, President Hosni Mubarak received a cable of congratulation from Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al-Nahyan President United Arab Emirates (UAE) on the occasion of the 27th anniversary of October victory.
