Moroccan student association in Russia gets structures

Set up last May by a group of Moroccan students in Russia, the Dar Al-Maghrib association has at last managed to register with Russian authorities and to get premises downtown Moscow.

Chairman of the association, Rachid El Arabi, was happy that the association could at last get its premises, first stage for the start of its activities meant to show Morocco's cultural diversity and economic potential.

The association is also getting in touch with Moroccan students in Russia and is projecting to set up a commission to address problems facing the Moroccan student community.

It also proposes to address difficulties facing Moroccan travel agencies in attracting more Russian tourists.
