State of alert announced by the Kuwaiti military forces, police

A Kuwaiti official source announced on Tuesday that Kuwait has increased its preparedness especially for parts of its military forces and police to utmost alert and dispatched special forces to the borders with Iraq to face any possible 'leaking' operation into the Kuwaiti territories by " al-Badoun."
The source said: " we have sent special forces to al-Mitlaa area, which is 80 Km far from the border with Iraq. The source added that all army and police forces in this area were put in an alert state to face any possibility.
The Kuwaiti minister of the Interior Sheikh Muhammad Khaled al-Sabah on Monday evening held an inspection visit to the region.
The declaration to put these forces into alert came after Baghdad on Saturday announced that a sit in to be organized on Tuesday ( yesterday) and for one week for thousands of al-' Badoun to demand their rights to return back to Kuwait.
One of the organizers of the sit in said that almost 3,000 al-Badoun and their families will observe a one week sit in near the disarmed area between Iraq and Kuwait.
