Some 53 Palestinians killed , 1000 wounded in confrontations with Israelis

The events of the fifth day of al-Aqsa mosque proved Palestinian determination to escalate confrontation with the occupation forces.

News reports said the Palestinians and since the early morning on Monday confrontation started in various cities, villages and camps of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip until towns and villages of the territories of 1948 ( lands occupied by Israel in 1948) started their confrontation with the Israeli forces using stones and bottles and chanted national slogans calling for escalating armed struggle and defending the holy sites and the lands.

The Negev witnessed confrontations between the Palestinian citizens and the Israeli forces. On Monday's confrontation more Palestinians were killed and the Israeli bullets wounded tens of them.

News reports said that two Palestinian policemen were killed after three cars with Palestinian policemen were exposed to missiles and machine-gun fire of the Israeli helicopters in Gaza strip near " Natsareim" crossing. In the town of Sakhnin the two Palestinians youths Imad Faraj Ghanayem and Walid Abu Saleh while Aseel Aselah and Alaa Nassar were killed in Arabah.

The reports added the Israeli forces fired intensively bullets against the Palestinian demonstrators and stone throwers, a matter which resulted in wounding tens of people in Nablus, Ramullah, al-Khalil, Bethlehem, Toulkarem, Gaza strip, Um al-Fahem town and also the village of Ara in the territories of 1948.

Later news said that two Palestinian young men died in al-Khalil ( Hebron) while six youths were seriously wounded in Kafer Kanna town and other three were wounded in Gaza when they downed an Israeli flag from a banner near Natsareim settlement and hoisted the Palestinian flag instead of it.

Meantime, thousands of Palestinians in Ramullah eulogized the two martyrs Jihad al-Aloul and the policeman Imad Anani who were killed on Sunday by the Israeli bullets. The city of al-Nasera also held a large funeral for martyr Subi Lubani in a demonstration included thousands of Arab citizens.

Meanwhile, it was revealed in Nablus that there is a new strange powder used by the Israeli forces against the Palestinian demonstrators in Qalil town. The powder is fired from a tank and it changes into gas and then after being in the air it causes very painful skin burns.

The Israeli radio, on the other hand said that some 60 Israeli policemen were wounded in Monday 's confrontations and one Israeli settler was killed when fire was opened against his car between the villages of Daya and Masha in the west bank.

The Israeli army rocketed two positions for the Palestinian intelligence in Gaza strip.

Eye-witnesses said that Israelis mounting an observation tower in the city of Rafah at the Egyptian borders bombarded using Lao' missiles position for the Palestinian military intelligence in the same area during confrontation taking place there, adding that fire was exchanged between the Israeli soldiers and Palestinians wearing civilian costumes. They added another position for the Palestinian security forces was also exposed to Israeli missiles bombardment on Rafah- Gaza road but no details were given, and just said that seven of the Palestinian security men were wounded.

Another armed confrontation took place between Israeli soldiers and the Palestinian security forces near Netsareim settlement on Monday in which the Israeli fire resulted in wounding scores of Palestinians.

Officials at al-Shefaa hospital in Gaza said that three Palestinians were killed in a cease fire and number of wounded in Gaza 's confrontation reached 62 on Monday, tens were at the al-Shuhadaa crossroad near Netsareim settlement while the bodies of three children including child Muhammad Rami Derra who was killed by the Israeli in " cold blood" while hiding behind his father's back in the same area on Sunday. Sources at Nablus hospitals said that 3 Palestinians were killed by the bullets of the Israeli soldiers. Al-Itihad hospital said Samer Samir Tabanja ( 10) was killed by a bullet that hit him in the heart. He is from the area which has the shrine for prophet Youssef tomb where Palestinian- Israeli confrontation took place.

Meantime, Palestinians of the occupied lands of 1948 ( the Arabs in Israel) carried out a general strike in solidarity with the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in protest of the Israeli provocation during the past days.

The cities of al-Nasera, Tamra Um al-Fahem Shafa Amro, al-teira, al-Teiba and the villages of Leqya, Ara, Kaboul and others witnessed demonstrations in which thousands took place and burnt the Israeli flag and called for expulsion the Israeli army chief of staff Shaoul Moufaz from his post and bringing him before the court for trial because he gave the orders to the soldiers to open fire and kill the Palestinian children.

Confrontation also registered with the Israeli police which arrested 18 from the participants in the protests. The Palestinian Omar Ahmad Jabbarin was killed when the Israeli police opened fire on demonstrators who blocked a main road and threw stones near Um al-Fahem village.

Seven demonstrators were wounded by live bullets and 53 by rubber bullets including Sheikh Raed Salah, the chairman of Um al-Fahem municipality.

The Israeli police tried to break into the cities of Um al-Fahem and Tamra but Arab members at the Israeli Knesset warned that will lead to a comprehensive uprising inside the " green line which separates Israel and the West Bank.
