Six Arab states support an Arab summit

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad urged on convening an Arab summit as soon as possible to confront the bloody events in Palestine.
Following Mubarak's call 6 Arab countries supported the summit, in Abu Dhabi President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan said he supports convening the summit.
Kuwait said through its foreign minister said it welcomes the summit, in Sanaa Yemen demanded convening the summit in 2 or 3 days.
In Amman, King Abdullah of Jordan and the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat urged at the conclusion of their meeting yesterday to convene an urgent Arab summit.
Saudi Arabia expressed two days ago its consent on convening an Arab summit periodically.
