Palestinian official accuses Israel of imposing war atomsphere on the area
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 10/2/2000

Taisor Kobaa, the member of the executive committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization assured that "there is unusual usage of power by Israel against the Palestinian people as the Israeli settlers began to participate in assaulting the Palestinians which constitutes a serious matter."

He said "the settlers have trained militias by the Israeli army as they receive instructions from it."

He accused Israel of imposing a war atmosphere on the area to impose its conditions on the Palestinian side.

He assured that "there is a coordination between Likud party leader Ariel Sharon and Prime Minister Ehud Barak's government because Sharon visited al-Aqsa mosque under the protection of more than 10,000 Israeli soldiers for there is a coordination between the Labor party and Likud party and an Arab confrontation is needed to face this coordination to expose it at the international level."
