Clinton phones Arafat to stop deterioration in Palestinian lands

The U.S President Bill Clinton made a phone call to the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat last night during which he assured continuing his efforts to stop the deterioration in the Palestine lands.
Nabil Abu Rodinah, the advisor of the Palestinian president clarified that Clinton emphasized on the necessity of implementing the peace process on the Palestinian - Israeli tracks.
Abu Rodinah said Clinton agreed with Arafat on holding a Palestinian - Israeli - U.S investigation concerning the Palestinian - Israeli confrontations. He clarified that Palestinian, Israeli and U.S security officials will convene when the circumstances allow a meeting in the area to investigate the accident to prevent the repetition of such accidents and confrontation.
