The Moroccan authorities intend to send a civil airplane to Baghdad following the arrival of the Yemeni, Jordanian, French and Russian airplanes to Iraq despite of the objection of the U.S and the British governments for they considered it a violation to the imposed international sanctions on Iraq.

All the countries which organized flights to Iraq assure that U.N resolutions state on the necessity of notify the UN international organization of these flights and obtaining permission, yet all these trips did not having the organizations consent, thus breaking and not acknowledging the validity of these air sanctions.

Iraq welcomed these trips and said it is a beginning of the end of these sanctions saying that the trips are formal and that it hopes for Arab trips on a high level to ease the tension and suffering of the Iraqi people.

Baghdad said that the Iraqi requests are for the most part to keep its citizens alive.
