Iraq-Yemen, Politics, 9/30/2000

After three Russian planes, a fourth French plane and a Fifth Jordanian, a Yemeni plane on Friday landed at Baghdad's airport having on its board the Yemeni foreign minister Abdul Qader Bajmal and carrying humanitarian aids for the Iraqi people.

Iraq's deputy premier Tareq Aziz and the minister of information and culture Humam Abdul Khaleq received the Yemeni officials upon their arrival at the airport.

On the other hand, the 100 passengers who were due to take part in the air flight from Paris to Baghdad and could not take off on Friday morning to Baghdad, are still persistent to head by air to Rome from where they want to travel to Baghdad.

The official for the Non- Governmental Organization NGO of the Human rights world children organization Yan Gleu said we hope to travel on board of an Italian plane to Rome and from there to Baghdad.
