$66 million investment in tourism in Agadir

An investment convention worth 66.1 million USD was signed in Rabat Thursday under which the Real-estate Firm for Tourism and Leisure Activity Promotion will build a large-scale complex including marina.

A release of the department of economy, finance, privatization and tourism says the ceremony was attended by minister Fathallah Oualalou, city-planning, environment, urbanism and housing minister Mohamed El Yazghi and the firm chairman of the board Zaid Ali.

The projects creating 2,800 jobs consists in the construction of a marina, a 250 room-hotel, a 160 unit apartment-hotel, 527 apartments and a leisure center including cinemas, stores and restaurants.
