Preparations for the Islamic summit in Doha begin
Qatar, Politics, 9/29/2000

A delegation from the general trusteeship of the Islamic conference organization began a visit to Qatar to prepare for the Islamic summit that will be held in Doha between 12th - 14th of coming November.

Ahmed Bin Abdu Allah Al Mahmoud, the state minister for the foreign affairs, convened with head of the delegation ambassador Mohammed Saleh El-Zeami - the manager of the secretary general diwan of the organization and they discussed the program of the summit.

El-Zeami said that the Qatari arrangements for the summit are 'good' and that the organization prepared the documents of the conference, the reports and the draft resolutions, referring to that the globalization issues and the economic issues will be of the most important issues of the summit.
