Motorcade calls for freeing arrested demonstrators

Families of the detainees at the security authority as a result of the demonstrations which lately took place in many Sudanese cities organized a motorcade in Khartoum yesterday and raised a note to the U.N bureau in Khartoum demanding setting detainees free.
The march in which women participated repeated anti- government slogan and called for the release of their relatives before the motorcade assembly in downtown headed to the U.N headquarters. The police did not stop them.
The authority arrested more than 100 activists from the public national conference party headed by Hasan El-Torabi. The leaders of the party say that a detention campaign was carried out in Khartoum before the demonstrations.
