A political shock due to the call of Matarna El-Mawarna council of evacuating Syria from Lebanon

The call of the Council of Maronite Bishops in Lebanon - the supreme Christian authority in Lebanon - for the Syrian forces to pull out from Lebanon raised multiple reactions and a political shock wave in Lebanon.
The Lebanese President Emil Lahoud accused the statement of the council of stirring sectarianism and factionalism for that the statement strongly criticized the existence of the Syrian forces in the republic palace the dumping of Syrian goods in the Lebanese markets.
Mustafa Tlass, the Syrian defense minister, said that Syria status in Lebanon was due to a request from the Christians inviting Syria.
