Israel's population increases

Experts at the Israeli central bureau said that number of the Israeli population will reach after five years, by the year 2005, some seven million population including 5.3 million Jews and that after 10 years ( in 2010 ) the number will reach 7.5 million inhabitants.
The al-Ayam daily issued in the occupied Arab lands ( of 1948) said that according to data of the statistics bureau in Israel on population increases, the experts considered this rate in population growth as high in comparison with the other industrial countries in the west as the increase in Israel reached during 1990- 1996 an average of 3.3%.
The experts attributed the increase in the population growth in Israel in comparison with these countries to two main factories: the relatively high fertility rate and the high migration rate into Israel.
