Palestinian official denounces Sharon's visit to Aqsa mosque tomorrow

A prominent Palestinian official in the Islamic endowments criticized the visit of Ariel Sharon, the head of the rightist Likud bloc, tomorrow to a- Aqsa mosque and depicted it of being a provocation visit. This comes at a time in which it is believed that tension will take place in the holy place if the Israeli official made any step to abuse the mosque's sanctity.

Faysel al-Husseini, the official in charge of the Jerusalem file in the Palestinian government, said that "this is a provocation tour and Israel will be blamed for the results of such provocation."

An official in Likud party said that "Sharon is to to make a tour tomorrow in al- Aqsa without determining neither the reasons nor the goals of this visit."
