Libyan cities witness violence from foreign labor

The Libyan government ended their silence following the bloody events which hit many Libyan cities since last Wednesday due to which tens were killed and wounded among whom were nearly 50 Chadi and Sudanese laborers.

Libya issued an official statement declaring convening an urgent meeting by the Libyan parliment to discuss these serious developments today.

The statement clarrified that the agenda of the meeting is to discuss 4 points which are the security, the coordination among the foreign laborers, the reasons behind the events and the wounded as well as the killed.

The statement spoke of banning the Libyan citizens from employing foreign laborers or allowing joint projects with them, assuring the break of violence and negating the security forces' interfernce in it.

A Libyan official negated that the Sudanese consul's was burnt when he went to the clashes locations.

It is worthy to mention that Libya opened its doors to the African laborers during the last 2 years due to which nearly 1/2 million Africans exist in it.
