72 persons died and afflicted with the fever of the cracked valley in saudi Arabia

21 persons died while another 51 were afflicted with the Rift valley fever which is prevailing in south Saudi Arabia since the current September the 11th.
The Saudi authority expanded the range of the preventive procedures especially in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam to prevent the disease as they deployed medical groups to check the passengers whom may be afflicted with disease and they sprayed coming cars from the border areas with Yemen with insecticides. The disease is transmitted by mosquitos.
In Sanaa, Abdu Allah Abd El Wali Nasher the Yemeni health minister said on Friday that the number of victims of this disease in the north and west of the country has increased to reach 23 persons.
