Palestinian officials counter Israeli moves in U.N.E.S.C.O concerning Jerusalem
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 9/25/2000

The Palestinian ministries for the education, culture and sciences intend to form an experts team to form a Palestinian answer on the presented Israeli draft to U.N.E.S.C.O concerning considering Jerusalem as an Israeli location and registering it among the international traditional locations.

Jihad Korra Sholi, the committee's secretary general said in press declarations yesterday that there are new Israeli attempts to defraud the international legitimacy resolutions and impose the accomplished fact in the occupied Jerusalem city.

He clarified that the committee works on preparing a study for the archeological and the historical locations in Palestine to present it to U.N.E.S.C.O referring that U.N.E.S.C.O demanded studies concerning the unlisted locations in the international guide for archeological and historical locations.
