A Kuwaiti official announced on Saturday that the Kuwaiti government asked the UN compensation committee for demands exceeding US $ 168 as a compensation for the Iraqi occupation.
The director general of the general commission for estimating the compensations Adel Asem said that what had increased the compensation was the demand made by the general commission for investment of US $ 86 billion as compensation for the " lost investment opportunities during the investigation."
