13 persons killed and 3 wounded in Algeria

Some 13 persons were killed and 3 wounded in three attacks carried out by gunmen on Saturday evening in the outskirts of the capital Algiers.

People of the area said that three armed-men wearing a military uniform attacked a house near al-Matja, 20 Km to the south of the Capital Algiers and killed with their automatic weapons 7 persons including two women and three children and wounded two and before they fled stole Jewelry and set fire to the house.

The same sources added that five persons were slaughtered at a " False barrier" in al-Matja on the road linking kelya. 20 Km to the southern east of Algiers and Bleida 40 Km to the south of Algiers.

Moreover an armed group intercepted two cars and the group slaughtered three men in the first car and wounded a two-year old child before they set fire to the car and in the second car two men received the same fate at the hands of the group.

On Saturday evening one security man was killed by the gunmen to the east of al-Matja, 15 Km from the capital Algiers.
