Palestine-Israel, Politics, 9/23/2000
Current communications are currently taking place between the Divan of the Israeli prime minister Ihud Barak and the Palestinian government to arrange a meeting today between Barak and President Yasser Arafat.
Radio Israel which broadcasted the news yesterday quoted the second channel of the Israeli T.V as saying that 'in case of convening this meeting it may prepare for convening a summit in which the U.S president Clinton will participate'.
On the other hand, Israel and the Palestinian government are expecting a U.S compromise for the permanent settlement that might be completed within the few coming days.
