Japan donates water tanks to Moroccan rural localities
Morocco-Japan, Economics, 9/20/2000
Japan has donated 15 southern rural localities in Morocco drinking water tanks, in support of the Moroccan government's efforts to alleviate effects of a second consecutive drought season. The water tanks will supply drinking water to 130,000 inhabitants in small villages in the 15 rural communities.
Since 1989, some 183 projects were carried out thanks to a Japanese non-reimbursable assistance that totaled $ 6 million.
