Syrian prime minister visits Bahrain today
Bahrain-Syria, Politics, 9/19/2000

Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa Miro is arriving today at Bahrain to fulfill an official invitation from his Bahraini counterpart Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Al khalifa.

The Bahraini crown prince Sheikh Salman Bin Hamed Al Khalifa welcomed this visit expressing his hope that this visit would contribute in enhancing the existing strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Syria and in supporting the cooperation ties between them in all fields.

Miro is to deliver a written message to the prince of Bahrain from the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad concerning the development in the peace process and the Israeli obstinacy in the peace process.

He is also to inform him with results of the communications he made with heads of the world countries in celebrating the third Millennium in New York and with the communications he makes with some Arab heads of state in order to convene the Arab summit in December.
