Jordanian journalists Union denounces further normalization with israel

The freedom committee at the Jordanian Journalists Union has strongly denounced the issuance of a bimonthly paper in Jordan, backed by Israel and is called " Sawt al-Salaam " ( the voice of peace ), calling for normalization with Israel.

During a meeting it held on Sunday evening in Amman, the committee called on the Jordanian Journalists Union council and the general commission for trade Union to boycott this paper and to try every journalist that deals with it.

During its meeting, the committee strongly condemned one of its members, Areeb al-Rentawi, who wrote in the said paper, and called for trying him according to decisions taken by the general commission of the Jordanian Union and the Arab Writers Union.
